T. Muldowney Jr Memorial Tournament for the fourth year in a row. Also making this the first
time in the history of the team that they have gone undefeated for the full season.

Wide Awakes capture the 2nd Battalion Title
WIDE AWAKES ARE 2006
STATE CHAMPS
On Friday July 21, 2006 the Freeport Wide Awakes won the annual RVC Old Fashioned Drill. Just
two days later they again won the a tournament in Babylon, this time it was for the State Old Fashioned championship.

Once again the Boys of Engine Company grab their sneakers and get ready to run!!!! This year some "Old" familiar
faces have joined the ranks to help the Wide Awakes have a winning season....
The good thing that we all benefit from this is Chief Kevin Muldowney will refresh his skills on hitting a hydrant.
Ex-Captain Hotch and Moskowitz can share an ice pack in the stands. But the most important thing is that the colors
of the Big E are running on a track.... Short track that is...
